Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden, generating one-sixth of the electricity consumed in the country. Nuclear power has very low fossil footprints and is a stable and weather-independent energy source. Since 1980, our three production facilities have delivered climate-smart electricity every day, all year round.

Currently, around 1,200 employees work at Forsmark, and we are part of the Vattenfall Group, which operates in a European labor market offering fantastic development opportunities for you as an employee. Our workplace is beautifully located along the lovely Roslagen coast.

UL operates buses to Forsmark that have wireless networks on the routes Gävle-Forsmark and Uppsala-Forsmark, allowing you to use travel time as work time if/when work allows. Buses to and from Forsmark are adapted to the working hours of daytime staff. You also have the option to use our remote workspaces in Gävle and Uppsala or work from home if/when work allows.

Forsmark is now looking for an Administrator ABH who will be involved in supporting the organization during the summer period.

Your main area of responsibility will be to support the operations team and control rooms at Forsmark with daily tasks. This includes handling keys, managing work permits, and other administrative tasks.

Through this summer job, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Forsmark as an organization and gain insight into the work at the control rooms.

Requirements

Your Background:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You are currently pursuing a technical education at high school or university, post-secondary studies are an advantage.
  • You have good computer skills.
  • You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. English is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who has a calm and accommodating demeanor and enjoys helping others. You take responsibility for your tasks, work in a structured manner, and drive your work forward. You collaborate well with others and communicate in a responsive and constructive way. At the same time, you plan and prioritize effectively and let clear values and good ethics guide you in your work.
